When the Cone Causes More Problems
Another study (Vet Rec Open, 2017) confirmed that improper use of the e-collar significantly increased the risk of surgical site infections (P = 0.025), raising post-surgical costs by over 140%. Non-compliance, poor sizing, and distress caused by the cone often result in premature removal, leading to self-trauma, infection, and repeat treatment

"This petsuit was extremely convenient around the house and outside, no cone required. My dog was able to eat, drink and roam around freely. The suit was light weight with an attachable component for the dog to do there business...highly recommend!"
